No, dreadlock extensions do not damage your hair when well taken care of.

Temporary dreadlocks can be braided into the hair and stay in for 6-8 weeks.

After taking the dreadlock extensions out, they can be re installed again. The extensions can last for many years when well taken care off.

Custom orders are not available at the moment.

Due to the overload of work and catching up with waiting lists custom orders are closed.

It will be announced on this page when custom orders are available again.

Temporary dreadlocks; 

These dreadlocks are called "dreadlock extensions" and are braided into the hair as a temporary hairstyle.
The temporary dread extensions can stay in the hair for 6-8 weeks. You can take them out and re install whenever you like, they will last for many years when well taken care of.
A perfect choice when you are not ready for a permanent commitment and like to be able to change your Dreadstyle.

Permanent dreadlocks:

Permanent dreadlocks (real dreadlocks) are made from your own hair with a backcomb and crochet technique.
They are a long term choice and can stay in as long as you want.
A perfect choice when you are ready to take the leap and enjoy the journey.
Permanent dreadlocks can be extended with dreadlock extenders to create extra length (with human hair, synthetic hair or wool).

Shipping times will depend on the country to ship to and the shipping method you have chosen for your order.
Orders will be shipped within 48 hours after payment.

All order are shipped from Portugal - Europe.

Refund and return policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since the date of your purchase, a refund or exchange cannot be offered. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, a receipt or proof of purchase is required and your request needs to be communicated to SaltyDreads first.

Non returnable items

Several items are exempt from being returned;
Dreadlock Extensions are considered a hygienic product and therefor can not be returned.
Sale items are excluded for returns.

However if a product turned up damaged after shipping, a suitable solution will be offered in the form of a full or partial refund or the remake of your order. To become eligible, proof needs to be provided with pictures of the damaged product directly after receiving it.

Loss of shipment:
To find out if a shipment is lost, a search and claim needs to be made to the shipping company where it will vary per shipping company how long such a process will take. Only after the result of this search the refund or  remake (full or partial) of your order can be discussed and offered.

Refund after return:
Once your return is received and inspected, I will send you an email to notify you that I have received your returned item. I will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
In case of a refund or return, the original shipping cost can not be refunded.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, within 7 days.
